SANE TeleECHO: Beyond Case Review to a Focus on the Nurse

On April 30 at 0900PT (1200ET), join Polly Campbell, Program Director of the ANE SANE Program at the School of Nursing University of New England to learn the impact of the SANE TeleECHO approach to case review.
What you are going to learn:

SANE TeleECHO

SANE TeleECHO is a team approach to case review that focuses on the impact a case had on the nurse. The purpose is to relieve the emotional stress of these difficult cases, allow the nurse to share vulnerability and gain support from colleagues, and prevent vicarious trauma and burnout.
Easily replicated, SANE TeleECHO has been valuable with  recruitment and retention of forensic nurses.

You will learn:

  • Describe the SANE TeleECHO model to deliver education and case review in a melded
format and enhance recruitment and retention of FNs
  • Develop a process of skill development through mentorship using the ECHO model
  • Discuss the impact on recruitment and retention of SANEs
