Student Membership

Students (Full-time undergraduate studies)

This membership level is for full-time students who are not registered nurses practicing in Canada.

Starting in 2026, CFNA membership is running on a rolling 12-month cycle, meaning your membership is valid for 12 months from your sign-up date. You can join at any time during the year, and your renewal date will be based on your registration date.

Live & Recorded Education

Unlock free forensic nursing education designed exclusively for CFNA members. Strengthen your clinical confidence, expand your forensic expertise, and stay current in this rapidly evolving field.

Member Committees 

Small, focused workgroups that research issues, make recommendations, and sometimes make decisions on specific areas of the organization's work, ultimately reporting back to the full board of directors.  The CFNA has both ad-hoc (temporary)and standing (permanent) committees.

Monthly virtual case studies with real-world application of forensic nursing principles, offering members an opportunity to learn through scenario-based discussion and reflection.
